Workshop refund policy

  • CSV workshop has No-refund policy unless the space is filled up with another person from the waiting list. If a workshop is cancelled, a full refund will be issued to all enrolled students. For cancelled workshops, students might be asked whether they want the full refund or the same value of a credit, which they can then use towards the purchase of a workshop in the future.

  • If you missed a workshop which is sold out, please contact the workshop coordinator or Social media liaison to join the waiting list. We will contact you when there is a cancellation.

A Merry Monoline Christmas by Margaret Schmidt

This is your chance to create great lettering with monoline tools: that beautiful glass

pen someone gave you that you haven’t known how to use; fineliners and bullet-tip

pens; as well as the round-tipped nib lurking in amongst all your other nibs.

No thicks and thins to worry about – just fun lettering, a little colour, and of course,

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without sparkle!

Suits all levels from beginners to advanced – anyone who wants to create their own

Christmas Cards.

Flowing Florals: Exploring S-curved patterns with a floral flourish by Charlotte Dilley

We calligraphers love medieval illumination. Glorious times in scriptoriums, when beautiful manuscripts have been created with lines & pages of highly decorated letters and words. They remain to be inspirational for us as they have been through the decades for many artists and designers. Brilliant work has been created by graphic designers in the 1920s. Let this be inspiration of your new style of Modern Illumination!
